2013 in review…It’s that time again!

Hello Everyone,

I received an annual report about my blog from WordPress.  I’m thrilled!  If interested, do click to see the full report.  According to the report, visitors to the blog represented 177 countries.  Last year I had visitors from 169 countries.  My mind boggles at those numbers.  WordPress started tracking the countries in Feb of 2012, and since that time I have had visitors from 183 countries.  The world is a smaller place today.

Happy New Year and thank you so very much for visiting and following my blog.

Love you all!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 290,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 12 days for that many people to see it.

  2. I am not surprised at your growing popularity, Skip.
Your generosity and abilities are like a Molybdenum magnet.
I hope 2014 is a fulfilling year for you.
Thanks for everything you have done to date.

    • Are we talking Mysterious Island Adventure here? If so…cool. Molybdenum magnets only attract Molybdenum, which is found naturally in the human body…did ya know that? So, if Molybdenum were truly magnetic…it would attract folks to the blog. It took my 40 minutes of research to come up with this reply. 🙂
Hey Wardie…you and yours have a happy one…every time I look at something from Australia, I think of your area…so beautiful.

    • Dang Ewaryst, would you quit moving around! 🙂 I have often said that I think some of the visits from some countries are either mistakes or regular followers traveling. It is really hard to know who came to the blog. Each country is listed by the number of views and not the number of people. In your two countries, you could have visited 100 times and click 4 links each visit…the software shows 400 views from both countries…but I don’t know if those views are by one or multiple folks. There are 41 countries that have less than 10 views and 15 of those are only 1 view. If I throw out those 41 that means that folks who wanted to visit the blog represent 136 countries. The number is still over the top as far as I am concerned…LOL. We get a map along with the list of countries, which is helpful. My geography isn’t the best. I am amazed how little I know about the world, but I have been spending time looking up stuff about the countries I don’t know. It has been a fascinating journey.
      Happy New Year Ewaryst,
      Skip
