I had so much fun yesterday doing the webinars and talking about Corel Painter 2016. Before I post the videos below, I want to remind you that my class starts tomorrow, Aug 15, 2015. In class I cover all the stuff in the videos in much more detail and explore much more.

I had one session yesterday morning and it was so much fun. My buddy Corel Painter Master Elite Tim Shelbourne was there and teased me without mercy. It was a hoot and all in good fun. I held the second session yesterday evening. Winifred was back helping manage questions. Thank you so much Winifred. Also attending was Corel Painter Master Elite Helen Yancy. I quickly made her an organizer allowing her to interact with Winifred and me. It is so much easier when I have someone to talk with while doing a demonstration. Helen, thank you so much for letting me impose on you.

Hi Maureen,
There isn’t a beginning time. I’ll post the videos for download sometime tomorrow and you can download them and watch at your leisure. There will be live sessions, but I haven’t set them, yet. I am in Eastern time also, so the times I set will be the same for you and me.

pls if we cannot attend is it possible to rewatch at our leisure- do we download the videos to do so if that is the case or are they only available online for a designated amt of time- thanks ! 🙂
Hi Alicia, The class consists of previously recorded videos and a couple of live sessions. All live sessions are recorded. You are able to download everything and watch at your leisure. Hope this helps,

because there are fewer brushes in Corel Painter 2016!!!!

There are fewer brushes in the Corel Painter 2016 default library, but don’t forget that Corel Painter 2016 also has the Corel Painter 2015 library, the Corel Painter 12/X3 library, and the Corel Painter 11 library. So no brushes are actually gone…just in a different place in Corel Painter 2016.

I am wondering whether I can upgrade to 2016 or not I still have Painter 12. I know…….. kind of slow on the uptake but would love to get back into it.

Hi Sue,
I don’t know why you cannot upgrade. If you are asking if you can upgrade with the $99, it still appears to be good and available on Corel’s site. I do not see anything about what version you can upgrade from, but I do not work for Corel and I am just looking at the same things you are looking at. As far as I can tell, there is no reason why you cannot upgrade.
