  1. I love your energy and use of colour Skip and thanks for the downloads you put up here. I’ve only recently purchased Corel Paint 12 and I’m stunned at all that power and potential – still just touching the surface of it all

    • Thanks Rosy,

I am sure you are going to love Painter 12. Give yourself some time to learn it. I think I am still touching the surface of it all, too. There is so much that you can do with this program. Have fun playing.

  2. Hi Skip, I enjoy looking at all the work you do. It is so beautiful and creative.
How in the world do you get so many ideas? How long does it take to make so many paintings? I am so slow, I think iy would take me 20 years to do all you Media paintings.

You give me such inspiration. Love it all!!!!

    Thanks Pat

  3. Fantastic brush downloaded Skip, thank you for taking the trouble to put them up for grabs. Your work is outstanding and inspirational. Keep it going.

  4. Hi Skip, How are you doing? I hope things are going better. I just downloaded bristly dabs. For some reason I didn’t have them. Thank you for your generosity in sharing all your wonderful brushes. I really appreciate all you have done over the years. I would never have learned Painter were it not for you (and DAA).

    • Thanks Kerry. I’m in Mississippi right now helping my sister transition from the Nursing Home to her home. I’m walking a lot, which is good…but I definitely feel it at the end of the day. LOL
Hope all is going well with you.
      Cheers,

      • I’m doing great. I played with the flower brush today. But I’m not making flowers. I’m seeing what else it does. I also found some other brushes you made. They are watercolors that are air brushes. They pick up the grain of the paper. They paint with gradient or pattern or color set. They are fantastic. Thanks for making them and sharing them. I’ll post if I come up with anything.

    • Thanks Don,
Creating nozzles for an image hose isn’t intuitive and is somewhat complex if you want to do a 2 or 3 rank nozzle. It is fairly simple for a 1 rank nozzle, but still not intuitive. I remember doing videos explaining the process, but I cannot find them on my blog or my You Tube Channel. I may have done them in a class…I’ll keep looking. In the meantime, I think the help files will tell you how to make a 1 rank nozzle that will work nicely with a single stem rose. Go to Help > Help Topics. Your default browser will open with the help files. Select the index tab and click on the letter i. Look for Image hose and under that “Creating a 1-Rank nozzle.” It is fairly straight forward. I’ll add making videos about an image hose to my list of things to do. Thanks for the question and the nice comment about my image. Hope this will get you started. Skip
