A Fresh Start; the New Corel Painter 2019 Officially Starts July 8th

Hello Everyone,

My new class, A Fresh Start, the New Corel Painter 2019 officially starts in the morning, Sunday, July 8th.  It isn’t too late to register.  And while you are at it, check out the rest of the courses at the Digital Art Academy.  If you cannot register now; no worries; you can register for later and work at your own pace.

I am excited about this course.  I have designed it with two sections, one for new comers and one for intermediate and advanced users.  I think it will be fun for all.  The new Painter is a lovely program.  Here is an example of something I created in 2019.  In it I use Pattern Pens, watercolor, and thick paint.  The pattern pen I made to look similar to gold leaf.  I love playing with texture in Painter!!!

Hope to see you in class.

  1. Hi Skip! I’m excited for class to start. I haven’t used Pattern Pens in a long time. I used to use them a lot. They have tons of possibilities. Even though I’ve used Painter since version 9, I’m going to do both parts of the class. I think I will find things here and there I didn’t know

  2. Dear Skip,

thank you very much! But I am in vacation … will be there recordings of your new course??

    • Hi Mario, The class is a series of video that you can download and view at your leisure. If there is a live webinar, it is always recorded and available for those who are not able to attend. You can register for the class anytime…it is what we call open enrollment, which means if you want to start it a month from now, you may. Hope you have a lovely vacation. Skip
