Corel Master Painter, Karen Bonaker, my good friend and mentor, just posted some recent work done with Buttery Oils. I love Karen’s work no matter the medium. These recent pieces are stunning. Recently Painter Master Skip Allen posted a new brush set called Buttery Oils. I have always been a fan of the Oil brushes in Painter but this set brings us closer and closer to the natural feel and viscosity of traditional opaque paints. I would like to share with you some of the paintings I have created recently using these brushes. Thank you again Skip for changing gears and creating this lovely set of opaque variants for Painter 12.

I receive all of Skip’s emails but I signed up to receive emails about DAA
and when the fall classes start but so far I have received nothing about
classes. Will anything be offered this fall 2012???

I’m sorry you haven’t been getting the DAA newsletters. If it is OK…I will give Karen your email address you used with this post and she can add you.
Yes there are fall classes at DAA. They begin Oct 13. Please click the link for DAA on the right side of my blog page. When you get there, look up at the top and click on Courses. That will take you to a page that will list everything that is being offered.
Please let me know if I may give your email address to Karen for the Newsletter.
